Fresh from Australia, our friend Wei Jie who is a freelance photographer studying in Perth and located just 10 minutes away from the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre shared with us some photos from the 2011 Perth Motor Show. It was held from the 19th to the 21st of August.

There were many classic cars on display and my favourite of them all was the Jaguar E-Type. It recently appeared in UK’s Top Gear show.

Apparently these cars ran for the Panama-Alaskan Rally.

From the list of photos E3lipse took, one can’t help but notice that the show focused mostly on muscles and V8s but there too were a fair share of European cars and Japanese as well.

Holden seems to be one of the larger exhibitors there and there were some HSV eye candies to behold.

The main icon of the show was the Western Australian release of the Lamborghini Aventador.

Probably the most shot car at the PMS 2011.

The look from the rear. Sexy.

Lamborghini Aventador's sharp styling scores points with me!

There was this 997 GT3 beside a race simulator, sadly it isn’t the RS model that can be commonly found on Singapore roads.

Suzuki unveiled the Kizashi Turbo, an approximately rated 300hp 2.4 litre turbocharged car fitted with a Garrett/Honeywell 2871 R ball-bearing turbocharger and waste-gated to a conservative 8.5 psi. My guess is chances of this car hitting Singapore’s shores are extremely slim.
