Readers Submission : Rocky’s Track Civic from New Zealand

Words by : Ben Wong, Photos by : Rocky

We’ve got a readers submission all the way from New Zealand! Its one track toy that we jumped at the chance to showcase we received his emailed. Why?

Here in Singapore, the only EG models available to us is the 4 door sedans and 2 door hatchbacks coming in SOHC and DOHC variants. It is only overseas that they get the coupe version and was made popular about 10 years ago, when Dominic Toretto and his crew used 3 of them with huge spoilers and green neons to high-jack truck loads of electronics.

No the car we have here is nothing like that. The one sent to us is a full fledged race machine built with one purpose in mind. To make sure Rocky is able to get it round a track as fast as his capabilities allow.

Reader’s submission : ScrapeArtist Scooby

Words by : Ben Wong, Photos by : Zandbox & Blackiephotos

A reader from USA known as Kosuri Atisuto sent in a picture of his car. He comes from the site ScrapeArtist and wanted to share his Hellaflush Subaru with everyone. Although I’m a huge Evo lover, I still appreciate a nice Subaru. For the Hellaflush haters out there that will probably have something to say about this car, I recall this quote floating around online.

“Hellaflush cars are like a girl in high-heel shoes. Who cares if she can’t run a mile. She is looking sexy as hell. If she needs to run a mile, she can put on some running shoes when she goes to the gym”

And based on that i really got to share the love on this scooby. It IS looking sexy as hell!

We apologize for the ad below. Our webhost auto inserted that. It will be dealt with promptly

Reader’s Submission : Black & Blue Evo X

As most of you know, Mitsubishi launched the Lancer Evolution X in 2008. This black and blue Evo X was sent in to us by reader named Trey. Readers can submit their rides by following the instructions in the “About” Section. Alternatively, you can also post pictures of your ride on our Facebook page Here

While I am a huge lover of Evolutions regardless of which model, the stock Evo in general looks like… Well, quite literally almost exactly like a Lancer with it’s tall (stock) ride height. The Evo 6 and downwards and Evo X in particular with the Lancer and Evolution sharing the same body. Trey however differentiated himself by dressing up his Evo up with lots of little carbon fiber parts that accentuated and enhanced the lines of the Evo X. The car is sitting aggressively on Rota Grids and overall styling is clean and effective. Undoubtedly, the performance of an Evo X is also assured with its 2liter Turbocharged 4B11. With such a killer combination of styling and performance will leave many of this car’s competitors black and blue.

Keep reading TheRightWrong.net for a shoot of this car and many others in the near future.
