I first encountered ClubITR (Integra Type R) at World Time Attack 2012 in Sydney last year. I took the chance to do a feature of one Club ITR DC5 while I was there. This time however brought me to the Melbourne branch of the end of month meet of Club ITR. There were a handful of Integra Type Rs on hand, but it was overwhelmed by pretty much everything Honda, not just limiting themselves to that one model. This DC2R with the JDM front end was a show stopper, the only DC2R that turned up with a Jdm front end. I met quite a few and managed to get to know a few CITR members through the night despite the freezing winds, everyone still stood around and interacted with one another just greeting and introducing themselves to everyone around. A great culture to have in any car club. Some where through the meet, somebody asked why did they give the USDM and JDM DC2Rs different front ends. Couldn't remember who said it but it was because it reflected the kind of eyes Asians and Caucasians have. Caucasians have larger eyes O_O while Asians have smaller eyes -_- . Some how that theory actually did make a little sense. A couple of members drove their daily cars to the meet instead of their Hondas. It was a pretty decent turn out for a Thursday night. The only thing that was missing from the meet was an NSX turning up, but I'll try and get photos from Steven whom I met at the CITR meet who recently attended an NSX meet in Melbourne!
