Net Catches : Car Culture Influence

Words by : Ben Wong, Photos by : Canibeat, Michael Russo

Over here in Singapore, we have the fortune of having cheaper labour costs compared to the people over in Australia and in the US. Therefore everything is mostly Garage built instead of home-built like those in overseas countries. Some how that has left us with the impression that everything has to be perfect in order for a car to be shown off. I'm here to prove you other wise. Your car does not have to be perfect, nor does it have to be complete. All it has to have is the right direction and any car will still look amazing. Here's an example from Wekfest in Chicago taken from Canibeat by photographer Michael Russo of an unfinished Volkswagen.

Full link to Wekfest coverage on Canibeat HERE.

Wekfest is the sort of events I am hoping we will have in the future.
