Random Snaps: Japan - GTR R32 at Asahi Beer Factory

Random Snaps: Japan - GTR R32 at Asahi Beer Factory

One of my itineraries for my Japan trip was to visit the beer manufacturers, Asahi and go on a tour at their factory, nothing less from a beer junky. Arrival from the usual Japanese hospitality with a free bus ride from the local train station at an exact time down to the minutes. There it was, one of my favorite varient of the GTR family only 2nd to the Hakosuka was chilling in the facilities' parking area. Such timeless lines with a combination of the box car racer of the R31 and the development of streamline-ness from the R33 and sitting rather low in street car trim. Rolling on silver Volks Racing CE28N wrapped in sticky Hankook rubber. With such a clean exterior, the owner (which I have no idea who it was) decided to be tucked into a Recaro full bucket seat finished in custom gold flaked shell. A contrast to the exterior. No fancy big body kits on the front facial of the car, just plain OEM goodness. I will just leave you guys with a couple more photos before I head into the factory for some "oh so fresh" Asahi draft beer, nothing like what I tasted from my country. Oh just to show you readers how nice or over the top the people at Asahi were, they even brought out a Japan-Singapore flag to be placed at our table! Thats all for now, more to come from my 1st Japan trip. - Randy
